Word.
Death is inevitable.
In my twenty years of existence in this world, I have come to realize that the death of family, friends, or people I care about is what I fear the most in life.
Everything happened in a blink of an eye. One minute, he was excitedly running its way, eager to welcome me as I opened the gate. And the next time I saw him, he was lying on the our backyard desperately grasping for air to breathe.
And at that instance, I pondered to myself, and asked God to save our dog. The dog whose fur was something I enjoyed to ruffle and play with. That tall, black, energetic dog whose tail was always wagging its way onto my legs.
We tried to revive him, but time and faith was not on our side. I will surely miss him. My dog and my friend. That one special creature that God gave to us. I will always remember him.
My dog, our special dog, with no name.
May you rest in peace.
